Seed (“we”) is a small business based in Macon, Georgia. We build websites for local businesses (Seed Sites) and set up Lead Rescue, a missed-call follow-up service. This page explains what we collect, why, who helps us handle it, and what you can ask us to do.
The “Request a quote” form
When you use the form on our site, we collect what you type: your name, your email, your phone number (optional), the package you are interested in, and your message. The form also sends the web address of the page and the time you sent it, plus a random reference number that helps us avoid handling the same request twice.
The form has a hidden spam-trap field that people never see, and it checks that a few seconds have passed since the page loaded and the form was first used. If the hidden field is filled in, or the form is sent too fast, the message is not sent. These checks are only there to stop automated spam.
We only use your details to reply to your request. We do not sell them and we do not use them for advertising.
Who helps us handle it
- Make (make.com) is the automation service that receives what you send in the form and delivers it to us by email. When you press Send, your browser sends the form to Make, and Make processes the information for us.
- Cloudflare is our website hosting provider. It may keep standard technical server logs (such as your IP address and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
We may also share information if the law requires it, and with the client business that a message is about when we run a service for that business. We do not sell your information.
Visiting this website
This site does not load fonts, scripts or images from other companies, and it does not use advertising trackers. We do not use cookies. To play the opening animation once per visit, the site saves one small flag in your browser’s session storage. It holds no personal information and goes away when you close the tab.
When we run a service for a client
For a business we work for, a service such as Lead Rescue may handle the contact details of people who contacted that business, and basic job and quote details the business gives us so it can follow up. We use this information only to run the service for that business.
How long we keep it
For as long as needed to reply to you, provide a service and keep basic business records. We keep quote requests for up to 12 months after your last message, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep your records while we work together and for as long as the law requires us to keep payment and tax records.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or online service can be completely secure.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. To make a request, use the Request a quote form on our home page and write “Privacy request” in the message. We aim to answer within 30 days. To protect your information, we may ask you to confirm details such as the email address you used on the form before we share, change or delete anything.
Changes to this page
We may update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
